This past Saturday, we went and got Blake's 2 year & Caley's 9 month pictures taken. Even though it was past nap time & they wanted to throw little fits, the pictures turned out good :) Here's a few... enjoy ;)

Day 4
Today, we took Blake to the Disney Store for the first time. He has this new love for Toy Story and so right when we walked in, his eyes got all big and he got SO excited! :) He grabbed 3 different stuffed toys... and yes, he walked out with all 3. Daddy couldn't tell him no ;)

Sorry this picture is a day late :p Last night we went out to dinner for Mom's 50th birthday. Everyone had a great time & the food was super yummy!! Plus, carrot cake from Olde Tyme... what more could you ask for?? ;)

The 365 Day Challenge
And no… I’m not talking about Special K!! ;) My friend Shelby told me about this challenge she’s doing where you take a new picture a day. So, I decided to copy her and do the same… I’ll take a new, random picture a day & post it. How can I find / take a new, interesting picture to post everyday you ask?? Well, keep checking back to see what I come up with!
Day 1 – My inspiration… Shelby!! :) Since she was the one who told me about this, I found it fitting for her to be my first photo. She & I share an office so we went with a Home Improvement Wilson neighborly look…. Enjoy!! :)

Our Anniversary Getaway
Like I mentioned before, Jerry & I went to Monterey for the day to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was perfect... the weather, the food, & the company! ;) It was so nice to get away for a bit, just the 2 of us. & a VERY special thanks to KK for watching the little monsters!!! You're the BEST! LOVE YOU!!!! :):)

As you know, I'm not a big fan of fish... so

We took a little drive along the water & found a little beach
where there wasn't a ton of people. Jerry stayed in the truck but
I got out & walked around. This is one of my fav. pictures that I took on my walk!!
On my walk, I found sea glass!! Not many of you know this,
but I collect the stuff. I have for years from random beach trips
that I have taken. One day, I hope to make something with all
of it. Maybe a frame or a table... we'll see ;)
After a long, fun day & being burnt to a crisp, Jerry & I
made it home & enjoyed some time with the kiddos.
As you know, I'm not a big fan of fish... so

Hello out there...
Well hello all :):) I hope everyone had a GREAT 4th and is doing well! We spent our 4th with great friends & the kids & I had a blast. We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends in our lives. Jerry had to work so the kids "uncles" and the girls helped me with my little handfuls. Thank goodness for them & all their help... the night was great & Caley enjoyed her first 4th of July ;) Here's a few pictures from our night...

It's been awhile...
WOW!! It’s been since Feb when I last updated. Sorry everyone!! I’m a slacker! With being a working mom, it’s hard finding time to keep everything up to date. Also, with facebook, I feel like most of you know what we’re up to anyways ;)
Let’s see…. What’s new?? Umm – Caley sits up on her own & is so close to crawling. She has 4 teeth, 2 on top & 2 on the bottom. She LOVES to play peek-a-boo and is such the little ham. I think she’s going to be my little personality kid. Blake still isn’t talking much. He says a few words here & there but he just doesn’t see the need to talk. We took him to the dr to get him tested for autism just to be on the safe said & the dr pretty much laughed at us. He said he’s fine & since he’s a middle child who has everything done for him, he just doesn’t see the need to start talking. Which makes since! Austin completed 1st grade and is moving on to 2nd! YAY!!! We were a bit worried there! He’s the type of kid that’s all boy & would rather be playing then paying attention. He’s currently enrolled in summer school so I hope that helps a lot.
As for Jerry & I, we just celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. We went to Monterey for the day on Saturday, which was a nice break! (PS – thanks KK for watching the babies J) The weather was beautiful & it was just an overall great day! It was nice to get away just the 2 of us & be able to reconnect without kids tugging at us wanting our attention. We even held hands!!!!!! Lol! That’s a big deal for Jerry & I since we probably haven’t done that since we were dating!
Well, I hope this update finds everyone well & in good health / spirits! Miss you all!
PS – I’ll try & keep up on this more… our modem is currently down at home & our camera charger was washed in the washing machine (thanks Blake!). Once we’re up & running again next week, I’ll try & do a picture post with random pictures from the past few months. Until then, here’s a picture of Blake & I on Mother’s Day! ;) lol
