Our Anniversary Getaway

Like I mentioned before, Jerry & I went to Monterey for the day to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was perfect... the weather, the food, & the company! ;) It was so nice to get away for a bit, just the 2 of us. & a VERY special thanks to KK for watching the little monsters!!! You're the BEST! LOVE YOU!!!! :):)

We took a little drive along the water & found a little beach
where there wasn't a ton of people. Jerry stayed in the truck but
I got out & walked around. This is one of my fav. pictures that I took on my walk!!


On my walk, I found sea glass!! Not many of you know this,
but I collect the stuff. I have for years from random beach trips
that I have taken. One day, I hope to make something with all
of it. Maybe a frame or a table... we'll see ;)


After a long, fun day & being burnt to a crisp, Jerry & I
made it home & enjoyed some time with the kiddos.

All in all, it was a GREAT day. I cannot wait to go back & take the kids. Seeing Caley play in the sand for the first time is going to be funny. We plan to go here soon... I'll keep you posted with pictures & the recap :)

Hello out there...

Well hello all :):) I hope everyone had a GREAT 4th and is doing well! We spent our 4th with great friends & the kids & I had a blast. We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends in our lives. Jerry had to work so the kids "uncles" and the girls helped me with my little handfuls. Thank goodness for them & all their help... the night was great & Caley enjoyed her first 4th of July ;) Here's a few pictures from our night...

It's been awhile...

WOW!! It’s been since Feb when I last updated. Sorry everyone!! I’m a slacker! With being a working mom, it’s hard finding time to keep everything up to date. Also, with facebook, I feel like most of you know what we’re up to anyways ;)

Let’s see…. What’s new?? Umm – Caley sits up on her own & is so close to crawling. She has 4 teeth, 2 on top & 2 on the bottom. She LOVES to play peek-a-boo and is such the little ham. I think she’s going to be my little personality kid. Blake still isn’t talking much. He says a few words here & there but he just doesn’t see the need to talk. We took him to the dr to get him tested for autism just to be on the safe said & the dr pretty much laughed at us. He said he’s fine & since he’s a middle child who has everything done for him, he just doesn’t see the need to start talking. Which makes since! Austin completed 1st grade and is moving on to 2nd! YAY!!! We were a bit worried there! He’s the type of kid that’s all boy & would rather be playing then paying attention. He’s currently enrolled in summer school so I hope that helps a lot.

As for Jerry & I, we just celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. We went to Monterey for the day on Saturday, which was a nice break! (PS – thanks KK for watching the babies J) The weather was beautiful & it was just an overall great day! It was nice to get away just the 2 of us & be able to reconnect without kids tugging at us wanting our attention. We even held hands!!!!!! Lol! That’s a big deal for Jerry & I since we probably haven’t done that since we were dating!

Well, I hope this update finds everyone well & in good health / spirits! Miss you all!

PS – I’ll try & keep up on this more… our modem is currently down at home & our camera charger was washed in the washing machine (thanks Blake!). Once we’re up & running again next week, I’ll try & do a picture post with random pictures from the past few months. Until then, here’s a picture of Blake & I on Mother’s Day! ;) lol

Caley's Baptism 2-20-10

Here's some pictures from Caley's baptism. It was such a wonderful day!!I'm so glad our family & friends got to share this special day with us... especially my Tia Ellie. That just made the day so much more special! Caley did great during the ceremony and didn't even cry when they poured the water over her head. I want to give a special thank you to Caley's 2 godmothers... they truly went above & beyond to make the day perfect & special!! :):) Love you guys!

Sorry I haven’t posted anything this week. On Monday, I returned to work. It’s nice to get out of the house everyday but I sure do miss my babies!!! I will try & keep everyone updated on our lives but I have a feeling the posts will be fewer and further between… at least until I get into the swing of things again. Here’s a few pictures from the past few weeks… as you can see, the kids are getting big & keeping us busy.
